Dark Chocolate Truffles With Grand Marnier

Dark Chocolate Truffles With Grand Marnier: Plant-based and gluten free rich chocolate dessert topped with raw cacao, hemp seeds, coconut, or your choice of chopped nuts.
  • 480 grams of high quality dark chocolate (85%)=4 & ⅘ bars from Trader Joe's
  • 1 can of full fat coconut milk
  • 1 large shot of Grand Marnier (2 oz.)
  • pinch of good quality sea salt
  • truffle toppings: help seeds, cacao powder, crushed pistachios or peanuts
  1. Chop chocolate and place into a bowl.
  2. Bring coconut milk to a gentle boil, stir to prevent scorching.
  3. Pour milk over chocolate, add in liquor and salt, and stir until chocolate is melted
  4. Place into the fridge to set, about 1 hour (or more)
  5. Using a small melon baller or a small ice cream scoop, scoop into small sized truffles. With moistened hands, roll truffles into small rounds, roll into toppings and place onto a tray. Freeze until set and then place into a freezer safe container.
