Spicy Cashews

Spicey Cashews: low in sugar, fat, calories, & gluten free: flavorful party snack
Ingredients
  • 2 cups of cashews or almonds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp raw sugar
  • ½ tsp cardamon
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350, toast nuts 7-8 minutes
  2. Wisk salt, sugar, spices in bowl
  3. Bring oil, vinegar, juice, and molasses to a boil in a shallow pan (about 30 seconds)
  4. Add nuts and stir to coat
  5. Place back on cookie sheet and toast in oven 4 minutes
  6. Cool and serve, can be stored for several days
